Fibronectins are involved in cell adhesion, cell motility, opsonization, wound healing, and maintenance of cell shape. Mostly heterodimers or multimers of alternatively spliced variants, connected by 2 disulfide bonds near the carboxyl ends; to a lesser extent homodimers. |
